🌟 White Sheet Radio Flying Club – 50th Anniversary Year! 🌟

2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the formation of White Sheet Radio Flying Club,  half a century of soaring on one of the UK’s finest slopes. This year, more than ever, we’re celebrating every aspect of slope flying from finely detailed scale models to modern composites, vintage woodies and our foamie favourites.

Self-launch systems may be used only as a replacement for a bungee or winch, or to avoid a bottom-slope land-out and return safely to the landing zone. If you can launch by hand, please do. If power is needed, switch it off as soon as possible, and always be mindful that propellers are a hazard. Safety – ‘yours and others’ – comes first on White Sheet hill.

Our event days are about sharing the sky, the craft, and the camaraderie, whatever you fly.

Our events typically run from 9 am to 4 pm, though weather always takes priority. If conditions look better, we may move the event to the adjoining Saturday.
